Currently there is a survey that is circulating in some social networking sites regarding who will be singing the theme song for 2020 Tokyo Olympics, if it will choose now.

There 20 Artists that appeared in the lists. It  includes Yuzu, Mr. Children, Southern All Stars, B’z, Ikimonogakari, EXILE, DREAMS COME TRUE, Arashi, Wada Akiko, Saburo Kitajima, YOSHIKI, Namie Amuro, AKB48, Momoiro Clover Z, Yuki Saori, Hatsune Miku, Eukichi Yazawa, Nagabuchi Tsuyoshi, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and Perfume.

As of 7:11pm (Philippine Time) of September 23, 2013, a total of 111,567 votes are already been gathered by the said survey. Gathering the highest votes of 21,474 (19.2%), the popular boyband ARASHI sits to the number 1 spots followed by Hatsune Miku with 17,508 votes (15.7%). In the 3rd spot we have EXILE with 13,333 votes (11.8%). While 8,666 votes (7.8%) said they want other artists to sing the theme song.

Aside from this survey, there is a strong talk that Arashi will be really singing in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. This rumor started after AraFes ’13. To further add details, during Arashi’s concert it is said that the Chairman of Japan Olympics Committee also went to watch the concert, which sounds really interesting.

But all I have to say is that, whoever sings the theme song, the Olympics will still be hosted by Tokyo, Japan. For those who want to vote in the survey here is the link: http://polls.dailynews.yahoo.co.jp/entertainment/10031/result
Remember, you will not lose anything when you vote.

Let just wait for further announcement regarding this matters.

P.S. Please correct me if listed wrong artist name/s or any information above. Thank you (^___^)

So today, AraFes ’13 ends...
Around 154,000 people attends the concert (77,000 per day)

Lots of things happened ~
Aside from the fans, there are celebrities who also went to watch the concert and the Chairman of Japan Olympic Committee was also there.
Aiba sang his solo, Hello Goodbye and plays harmonica.
Nino performed his solo, Himitsu while the other members back him up wearing mascot costumes.
Riida with Take Me Faraway, Sho with Hip Hop Boogie and Jun with Shake It!

On the second day, it is said that they celebrated MatsuMiya birthdays.
SakurAiba came out in OhMiya SK costume while Riida with Jun’s Yabai Yabai costume. They even read letters for the both of them.

Arashi also used some of their old costumes with really bring backs the memories. Even the members of Arashi got teary eyes while they sang their songs, remembering the days they have spent in Kokuritsu. I bet all the people who watched the concert really enjoys it!

I’m just a little sad because there won’t be any Arashi concert to be held in Kokuritsu for 7 years. Kokuritsu will undergo a renovation as a preparation for 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

For 6 years straight, Arashi had always been performing there ~ It somehow became a tradition that every year there is a Arashi concert in Kokuritsu aside from their 5 Big Domes Tours.

I just hope when the renovation finish, Arashi will be able to perform there again ~
I’m also looking forward for the DVD of this con. Johnny-san!! Please release a DVD!!!

7 years might be long and Arashi will be older but no matter what, ARASHI IS STILL ARASHI. Age is just a number. We will see again Arashi in the grounds of the newly renovated Kokuritsu in the future!

Back then in 2008, when I was only 15 years old and a 3rd year High School student, I don't know Arashi. It is like "what is that? is that a thing?" and "who are they? I haven't heard of them". Those are my questions inside my head. But as the seconds, minutes, hours, days, months and years passed by. Little by little I'm able to know them..
